Ourania Georgoutsakou
Ourania Georgoutsakou has been the managing director responsible for strategy and impact at Airlines for Europe since 2023. In this role, she represents Europe’s leading airlines in the Brussels political arena, liaises with industry executives and manages the association’s operations. From 2017 to 2023, Georgoutsakou served as Secretary General for LightingEurope, a trade association representing Europe’s lighting manufacturing industry. Previously, she was the director of public policy for Europe at SEMI from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, she was part of the Assembly of European Regions as Senior Policy Coordinator. Georgoutsakou holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Staffordshire University, a master’s degree in European law from the University of Nottingham and a master’s degree in European Policy Process from Cardiff University. She is also a PhD graduate from the University of West England.
